South Carolina Relief

Flood_ReliefJoin the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Global in providing much-needed relief to flood stricken areas of South Carolina.

With over 14 deaths and $1 billion worth in damage, South Carolina will need Christ’s Body to be generous and present.  According to the CBF website, there are resources already in place to provide relief:

Jay Kieve, the  coordinator of CBF South Carolina is working with several churches in the Columbia and Charleston, S.C., as they seek to address the needs of their flood ravaged communities. CBFSC has also provided support and is reaching out to Providence Baptist Church in Charleston as they assist families affected by the flooding in a community with which they have partnered for 15 years.

Another CBF congregation—Kathwood Baptist Church in Columbia—with an existing day-care ministry, hopes to expand their capacity in the wake of the devastation to allow impacted families to have a safe place for their children as they deal with flood-damaged homes. Your generous gifts will assist in the short-term and long-term recovery in these communities.
